Giving Hope & Help's  A-WAY of Escape from Domestic Violence (A-WAY)

The life-saving purpose of the A Way of Escape from Domestic Violence Initiative is to aide women and clients and residents of domestic violence shelters in the KC metro area with funding and resources to EQUIP, EMPOWER and provide “A Way of ESCAPE from Domestic Violence,”, leading them to live life to their fullest potential free of violence and abuse.

Giving Hope & Help has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the US Dept. of Health and Human Services to fund this initiative and will be used through June 2024. GH&H will financially support women recommended to us by our Missouri DV Shelters partners to assist women residents/clients to escape domestic violence and abuse. Our Kansas DV Shelters partners will also be receiving funding through GH&H.
